The 'Park de las Ciencias' (Science Museum)
The Granada Park de las Ciencias is a great attraction and there were lots of things to see. We climbed up a tall observation tower and enjoyed some good views of Granada below. We also went to the planetarium and enjoyed a sky show there, before moving on to the butterfly house, the botanical area and then of course, to the cafe and gift shop. The Science Museum is on the Avenida de Mediterranean.

Flamenco Dancing in Granada
If you are in Spain and want to enjoy an evening of flamenco dancing, then Granada is the place to be. We went to the Upsetter Bar on the Acero del Darro, which was conveniently just a very short walk from the Plaza Nueva. It was a really good even and we left feeling that we really had experienced a definite taste of Spain, in a small way anyway.

My Walk around the Muslim Quarter
The Muslim Quarter is situated beneath the Alcazar and close to the Alhambra. I was told that the best time to walk around this after was on a weekday, when it was busy and full of atmosphere. It is very quiet on Sundays, when the majority of the shops are closed.
