The Museum of Fine Arts (Museo de Bellas Artes) is one of Granada's most popular galleries and is home to a diverse collection of paintings, sculptures and plasters, many of which date from the 1500s.

Other interesting exhibition spaces in the city include the Royal Chapel Sacristy Museum - part of the Santa Maria Cathedral, and the Rodriguez Acosta Foundation - which is dedicated to the works of local artist José Maria Rodriguez-Acosta.

Without doubt Granada's premier art gallery, the Museum of Fine Arts (Museo de Bellas Artes) is home to many important works, dating from the 16th century onwards. Standing on the Alhambra hill, the museum features many outstanding religious paintings, sculptures and ornate plasters. Part of the Palace of Carlos V, the gallery also features a number of 20th-century paintings and an extensive art-related library.

Housing many important works, a colourful collection of panels which originated from the Flemish School, and a number of local artefacts, the Royal Chapel Sacristy Museum is worthy of a visit. Paintings here include a mixture of Flemish, Italian and Spanish works.
