Re. The peninsula
Sorry S Khan, but I personally believe that the Parque de la Naturaleza de Cabarceno is Santander's finest park! It has much more of a wide selection of animals than the peninsula too! I must say though that it lacks something on a par with the piano festival that is held at your favourite every year.

The peninsula
I believe that Santander's Peninsula of Magdalena is its best national park, and it has a beach to accompany it. Watch the world go by the bay of Santander, enjoy the zoo - famous for its seals - or have your photo taken next to the reproduction of Christopher Columbus' ship, the famous Santa Maria.

Will you marry me?
That's the question I asked my wife at the Palacio Real de La Magdalena - an awe-inspiring palace. Up to you though whether you want to tie the knot on its grounds on the nearby beach! Plenty to do other than get married though, so don't be put off by my comments.

Cabo Mayor
I must say that I enjoyed the Cabo Mayor peninsular more than the one that is near the bay. I'd like to add that it has an iconic lighthouse and you have to drive by the town's best golf course, in my opinion, to get to it.

The Little Harbour
The Little Harbour is referred to as Puerto Chico by the locals of Santander and we weren't given false information upon being told that the best views of the town's bay were offered here. Additionally, you also have great access to Palacio de Festivales de Cantabria.
