Another Coastal Village
It is an out of the way, but worth to go to. The Adonis Bath in Paphos. A beautiful, charming waterfall. You can take picnic, make day. Just hire the car or find a out of city taxi service.

Re. Never Bored
Don't forget all of the trails just outside of the city. You can get the bus or rent a car to the places that you want to go easily enough though I wasn't particularly keen on driving.

Never Bored
Plenty of sights like Aphrodite's Rock, The House of Dionysos, Paphos Fort etc. You can do most of the major ones in a day or two. If you want to spend a bit, there are also plenty of water sports like jet skiing. One thing that was pretty annoying were the young lads always looking to sell the timeshare deals. They're pretty non-stop and best to ignore altogether. I just put my headphones in and keep walking.

Re. Interesting Mix of Class and Cultures
The Paphos Castle is listed on the UNESCO world heritage site list - didn't know anything about that until we got there. Was really happy to discover such a gem.

Interesting Mix of Class and Cultures
Interesting place - brilliant history. Most favourite was the Paphos Castle, least favourite was the over built beaches belonging to only expensive resort villas.

The Heat Is On
Bring sunscreen and water! Paphos sometimes gets nasty heatwaves - my friend passed out by the pool one afternoon. She was fine in the end, but had to stay out of the sun for a day or so.

Traditions Are Still Alive
You can't go anywhere in the city without seeing a game of backgammon or listening to traditional folk music. Lovely really - hotels are just alright unless you want to pay the high villa prices to be on the beach.
