For those looking to stay away from the main crowds in central Benidorm, Poniente is a noticeably quieter side of the resort with a good selection of hotels. Poniente is known for its long sandy beach, which stretches from Poniente right up to La Cala, with numerous hotels nearby. Apparent rentals are also popular in Benidorm's Poniente area, offering good value for money.

The nearby family resort of Albir is within easy reach of Benidorm and offers an increasingly popular variety of hotels and accommodation, to suit all budgets and tastes. Albir appeals to many holiday makers wishing to stay in the Benidorm area and features a superb beach - the Playa de Racó de l'Albir, which remains fairly quiet, even during the height of summer.
