With many sandy stretches of beachfront and fun things to do, Benidorm is home to many outstanding tourist attractions, offering fun for all the family.

Benidorm's top attractions range from all kinds of water sports and recreational activities, to numerous theme parks with fast roller coaster attractions, such as Terra Mitica, which stands close to the centre of town.

Benidorm also offers a range of water sport attractions - with water skiing lessons and scuba diving excursions available, fast water slides and pools at the Aqualandia Water Amusement Park, and a number of popular boat trips to nearby islands, including Calpe.


Water Sports

With its superb coastal location in the very heart of Spain's Costa Blanca, it is hardly surprising the Benidorm features an array of popular water sport attractions, which are particularly popular during the summer months. With water skiing, windsurfing, jet skiing, scuba diving and snorkelling, tourists visiting Benidorm also often enjoy paragliding and sailing along the coastline, and swimming in the resort's many pools.

Cableski Centre

Situated in the Rincón de Loix area of Benidorm, the Professional Cableski and Watersports Centre offers a simple way to learn to waterski, without even using a boat, using a rectangular cable system. Courses at the centre are friendly, informal and inexpensive. Cableski also offers a number of other fun attractions, such as banana boats and jet skis.

Terra Mitica

A notable theme park which can be reached within just a few minutes from the heart of Benidorm, Terra Mitica offers a large number of fast attractions and thrilling rides. With roller coasters such as the Alucinakis, the Tizona, the Tren Bravo and the wooden Magnus Colossus roller coaster, Terra Mitica has a strong Mediterranean theme with plenty of things to keep the whole family amused all day long.

Aqualandia Water Amusement Park

Close to central Benidorm, the Aqualandia Water Amusement Park is the perfect place to cool down in the summer sunshine. With numerous fast water slides, swimming pools, rapids, giant waterfalls and shallow pools for young children, the park also includes a number of restaurants, cafés, shops and planted areas for relaxing and sunbathing.

Boat Trips to Calpe

One of the best ways to fully appreciate Benidorm's attractive coastline, regular boat trips travel to the nearby village of Calpe from the Benidorm Marina. Attractions here include long stretches of sandy beaches and a seafront promenade area, which is lined with restaurants and eateries, although Calpe is perhaps best known for being home to the Penon de Ifach (Rock of Ifach).

Submarine Trips

Hourly trips are available to nearby Benidorm island, which lies around 2 km / 1 mile from the shore. Consisting of a catamaran-type boat with underwater viewing deck, these 'submarine' trips offer a superb way to appreciate the beautiful landscape and array of creatures beneath the surface of the Mediterranean Sea.
