Follow this route for several kilometres south until the N-338 turn-off. The New Terminal is located along this service road. Alicante can be reached via the northbound A-79, while Elche is within ten minutes' drive westbound on the A-79.
Bus lines to the city of Alicante and Elche are offered by publicly operated services. However, the private company ALSA provides bus and coach operations to the town of Benidorm. Journeys from the airport to Benidorm generally take 45 minutes, but this does largely depend on the traffic conditions.
Radio Taxi Elche is the main cab service available outside the New Terminal. Despite the fact that Elche is located directly west of Alicante Airport, the company still offers taxi transportation to Benidorm. A rank is located outside the terminal entrance. Taxis are among the most widely used transportation option by visitors to the Alicante province of Spain.
