La Recova Arts Centre

One of the main centres for arts and culture on the island, La Recova Arts Centre offers many extensive art exhibitions, including paintings and sculptures by a number of notable local Canarian artists. La Recova Arts Centre is situated in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and also contains the main office of the City School of Graphic Arts.

Municipal Museum of Fine Arts (Museo de Bellas Artes)

Home to an important collection of paintings, the Municipal Museum of Fine Arts is located in the Santa Cruz de Tenerife area of the island and includes many important works of art dating from the 17th century onwards. Displayed in a number of separate rooms and galleries, Tenerife's Municipal Museum of Fine Arts also contains some interesting sculptures, which use a range of mediums. The museum actively promotes the works of local Spanish artists and contains a large permanent collection of paintings, including many by artists from all over the Canary Islands.

Home to an interesting and appealing exhibition of photographs, the Centro de Fotografia is located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and offers a range of quality exhibitions, including contemporary digital works and video art. The FotoNoviembre exhibition, which is held annual each November, is the gallery's highlight of the year.
