The Revoltella Museum is amongst the most notable of all the art galleries in Trieste and is certainly one not to miss.

Also of great interest in Trieste is the Museum of History and Art, which is otherwise known as the Civico Museo di Storia ed Arte and home to some exceptional sculptures from medieval and Roman times.

Those with a taste for Chinese and Japanese pieces should look out for the Museum of Oriental Art, which is located along the Via San Sebastiano and features much more than just art works.
