Arriving in the City

The AirportExpress Schönefeld train is probably the easiest way to travel into the city. This train runs every 30 minutes from Monday to Friday between 05:10 to 01:40, and at the weekends between 05:40 to 01:40, and stops at four stations in East Berlin along the way. It terminates at Bahnhof Zoo and the journey lasts around 30 minutes. There is also a free shuttlebus service nearby that connects with the train station and runs every ten minutes between 04:30 to 23:30. Some S-Bahn trains, mainline and local services also serve the airport. Taxis are readily available nearby and a taxi ride into the city centre will take around 30 minutes.
