An impressive international course stretching for around 6,800 yards, Forest Hills is especially popular with visitors staying in the Hiroshima area of Japan, boasting an especially strong American feel and fairly traditional layout.

Also worth a mention is the Hachihonmatsu Course at the Hiroshima Country Club, which offers good facilities and plenty for all abilities.

A par-72 course with superb facilities, the Forest Hills Golf Club has much to offer and was the very first municipal golf course in the area. Close to the airport and partly designed by Lester George, the club boasts vending machines around the actual course, dispensing cold refreshments, including beer. Other golfing highlights include computerised layouts of the 18 holes, challenging sandy bunkers, scenic views, mature planting and wide fairways.
