Philadelphia's Visitor Center
When you first arrive in this city, do go to the Philadelphia Independence Visitor Center. They will be able to offer you all kinds of advice and help, and are even able to work out special customized tours to suit your needs. Just a few minutes here can save a lot of wasted time wandering around aimlessly. The Visitor Center is on Market Street and opposite the Liberty Bell Center. Some of the staff were even wearing period costume.

Don't Miss out on the Academy of Natural Science
The Academy of Natural Science is around 200 years old and nothing short of a true Philly treat. We all loved the Dinosaur Hall, which has a massive Tyrannosaurus Rex and other big dinos. There were also some interesting dioramas with recreations of natural habits. The museum is one of Philadelphia's best and has an ongoing research program, which is quiet commendable. It is located on the Ben Franklin Parkway.

I Liked the Swann Fountain
I took lots of pictures of the Swann Memorial Fountain in Philadelphia. It is in the center of Logan Square and is close to the cathedral. It was a very sunny day and there were even some young children paddling in the water. A very dramatic fountain with a 15 meter geyser in the middle. Worth catching at nighttime as well, when it is all lit up.

Shopping
I live in Philly and you could add that it is not that far to reach the King of Prussia Mall which is an amazing place. Just thought you might want people to know.
