Savannah Art Galleries

(Savannah, Georgia - GA, USA)

Savannah has a reasonably healthy art scene made up of both traditional and fringe galleries. The Jack Leigh Gallery on East 41st Street is one of the city's most famous art galleries, on account of the artist being a Savannah resident and a photograph of him having been used to adorn the cover of the famous novel 'Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil'.

For the best in classical artwork in Savannah, visitors should head for the Bothwell Gallery on Whitaker Street, and to the Telfair Museum of Art on Barnard Street, the latter of which stands right next to Telfair Square and near to the Civic Center.
