The County Courthouse is one of the most celebrated landmarks of Santa Barbara, with striking Spanish Colonial style architecture. Channel Islands

The Channel Islands extending off the southern California coastline from Santa Barbara to Los Angeles are a striking natural landmark, featuring nearly 2,000 plant and animal species. The National Park features five of the eight islands in the chain and visitors can hike, dive and glimpse the endangered blue whale that migrates through the nearby waters.

Lobero Theater

The original Lobero Theater, built in 1873 by José Lobero, was the region's first genuine theatre. The current theater was rebuilt in the same location in 1924 and continues to provide cultural and performing arts events for the surrounding community. Santa Barbara's Lobero Theater is known for its range of productions, including modern dance, ballet, opera, lecture series and symphony, jazz and contemporary music concerts.
