Poole Attractions for Children

(Poole, Dorset, England, UK)

Apart from the beaches of Sandbanks, Shore Road, Canford Cliffs and Branksome Chine (amongst others), Poole does come with some very appealing family themed attractions, perfect for those on holiday with children. Whatever the weather, the out-of-town Tower Park Leisure Complex offers something for everyone, ranging from tenpin bowling and the latest movies, to restaurants and water slides (at Splashdown).

Those with a car may like to drive to the outskirts of Poole, where the Adventure Wonderland theme park is perfect for younger children. A little further afield is Paultons Park, near Romsey, home to three roller coasters, two water rides and the popular Peppa Pig World. Alternatively, simply head to the Oceanarium attraction on the Bournemouth seafront, and afterwards, perhaps pay a visit to the seaside amusements on the pier, which in the summer include mini dodgems and a Helter Skelter.
