Located near the north-western coast of Belgium, the Ostend-Bruges International Airport primarily caters to charter and private jet traffic. This complex handles over 200,000 passengers a year and serves the popular seaside resort of Ostend, which is known for its esplanade and beaches.
This busy air facility is located just south of Ostend city centre, making access easy. Passengers can reach the airport, which is just a stone's throw away from the coast, via the N34 (Zeedijk) coastal road or the N341 (Duinkerkseweg) road. The facility prides itself on being a small and efficient hub.
The majority of the airlines that fly to the airport are charter airlines, offering connections to

The Ostend-Bruges International Airport is less than 2 km / 1 miles south of Ostend city centre and approximately 20 km / 12 miles west of the city of Bruges. The historic city of Bruges can easily be reached via the A10 motorway, while the city of Dunkirk can be accessed via the A18 motorway.

Cars
The city centre of Ostend (Oostende) can be easily accessed from the airport, via the Nieuwpoortsesteenweg / Ringlaan (R31). The city of Bruges, located east of the airport, can be easily reached via the A10 motorway. Journey times are ten minutes and 35 minutes, respectively. Those driving into Bruges should expect to pass by Konterdam, Zandvoorde, Jabbeke, Loppem and Sint-Michiels, before reaching the city centre itself.
Buses
There is public bus access to the airport. Passengers can take bus number 6 (Raversijde via Luchthaven), which provides a direct link to the train station in Ostend.
Trains
There is no train station at the airport, but visitors can take a bus to the train station at Ostend, from where other destinations in Belgium, as well as
Paris and
Amsterdam, can all be reached by rail.
Taxis
Taxis are available outside the terminal building. A trip to Ostend city centre will take less than 15 minutes.
