Many of the best art galleries in Jaipur are located within other museums, amongst historic artefacts and other items of local interest and significance.

Various exhibitions can also often be found within Jaipur's Hall of Public Audience (Diwan-i-Am).

RC Museum of Indology

Modern Art Gallery

The Jaipur Modern Art Gallery is sited close to the city's zoo, the New Gate and next to the Ram Niwas Public Gardens, off MI Road. One of the city's premier galleries and displaying contemporary art in various mediums, the Modern Art Gallery is just a short walk from the Central Museum.

The Maharaja Sawai Mansingh II Museum has become known for its many elaborate royal costumes and Kashmiri pashminas (woollen shawls). Exhibits are displayed in a series of individual galleries, which include the Textile Gallery, the Armoury Gallery (Sileh Khana), Baggi Khana and the Art Gallery, where many 19th-century photos and Indian miniature paintings can be discovered.

Anokhi Museum of Hand Printing

A great place to find traditional art works and local handicrafts, the Anokhi Museum of Hand Printing is managed by the Anokhi Foundation and actively conserves important art works for future generations. Inside this attraction is a small gift shop, cafe area and streaming videos.
