Diving in Ras Mohamed National Park
Best place I've been for snorkelling. It doesn't matter how well you can swim, because some of my friends enjoyed it even though they aren't great at swimming. The boat trip was fantastic, but going in the sea was definitely the highlight for me, and I would love to go again.

Dolphins - expensive, but good for families
The dolphin shows in Sharm el Sheikh are ideal for families. The creatures themselves are actually trained by experienced Russian dolphin trainers and seem to be very happy leaping out of the water and dancing. There were three dolphins in total and the shoe lasted around one hour. It started at 15:00 in the afternoon and we were even collection from our hotel, although at that price, I would have expected it! Good though, but pricey.

The Naama Bay Resort
The Naama Bay resort is where it all happens in Sharm el Sheikh. It has loads of shops, restaurants and bars, as well as lots of entertainment. Many hotels are situated in Naama Bay, as well as Internet cafes and some popular dive shops. This area is really touristy and the souvenirs in the gift shops are pretty expensive. The main streets are completely free of traffic and we enjoyed having cocktails here, whilst sitting outside in the strong Egyptian sunshine and enjoying a gentle sea breeze. Nice memories.

Our boat trip to nearby Mohamed
There are several different tour operators offering day trips to nearby Mohamed from around Sharm el Sheikh. These yachts are particularly based around Naama Bay and take you to some good dive spots and places suitable for snorkelling, although you will need to bring your equipment with you. We enjoyed snorkelling around the Ras Mohamed national park in particular, and eating lunch on the boat. One word of warning, it can be a bit choppy so do think about taking a travel tablet or something like that - wish I had!
