Dallas Parks and Gardens

(Dallas, Texas - TX, USA)

There are numerous patches of green scattered across the Dallas map, and many of them are superbly developed parks and gardens, offering much more than a quiet stroll in the woods. The grand-daddy of them all is Dallas' 70 year old Fair Park, located three miles out of town, where you'll find museums, a stadium and several other venues scattered in the green grounds.

There are also lake recreation areas in Dallas, a living museum park, and many smaller parks suitable and landscaped gardens for jogging and exercise. University Park and Highland Park are two 'green' suburbs north of central Dallas with an abundance of local flora and fauna.
