Nashville Ballet
One of the best kept secrets in Nashville is their ballet company. Nashville Ballet performs the last weekend in October, does a fabulous new Nashville Nutcracker each December, present repertory works in February and always has a classic story-ballet the last weekend in April. If you are you town, you should catch one of their performances...Very high quality and well worth the money. Also a great opportunity to hear the symphony, who accompanies most performances. I can't wait to see Carmina Burana!

The Nashville Country Music Hall of Fame
Go to the Nashville Country Music Hall of Fame on 5th Avenue. It is one of the main attractions here and even if country music is really not your thing, you will still enjoy at least looking at the building, which really does look pretty darm cool. For something quite similar, visit the Grand Ole Opry Museum, which does not have an admission charge. A lot of people don't even notice that the main facade is actually a great big piano keyboard, with the black windows forming the black notes. Look again and see what else you can spot. Genius architects.

Soak up the atmosphere and go Downtown
Downtown Nashville is where it is all happening, day and night, particularly around Broadway. There are just loads and loads of bars, with all kinds of different live music being performed in virtually each one. Amazing. There are also plenty of shops everywhere, lots of good restaurants, the Country Music Hall of Fame, and visitors center, and also the Titan Stadium. We went to the visitors center and got some good discount vouchers, which saved us a bit of money.
