Together with the Basilica of St. Mary, this serves as the Co-Cathedral of the Archdiocese of both St. Paul and Minneapolis.

St. Paul's Cathedral boasts an enormous copper dome, detailed interior decorations and regular guided tours, which provide a real insight into its history. Modeled on St. Peter's in Rome, St. Paul's was designed by Emmanuel Masqueray and is one of the largest of its kind in the country.

Standing in downtown Minneapolis, St. Mark's Cathedral Church is an impressive structure, featuring Gothic-style architecture and a large interior. Basilica of St. Mary

The Basilica of St. Mary can be found in downtown Minneapolis and is a giant and quite unmissable building, constructed of white marble between the years of 1907 and 1915. With tall twin towers, a large dome, a huge pipe organ and regular services, this was actually the first basilica to be built within the US and also features guided tours and seasonal events. The annual Basilica Block Party music festival has been staged here since 1995 and regularly attracts in excess of 25,000 people, with proceeds being used to fund ongoing restoration work.

Situated in greater Minneapolis, Our Lady of Lourdes Church is a particularly attractive church, mentioned on the National Register of Historic Places. One of the oldest churches in Minneapolis, Our Lady of Lourdes Church is a fairly small Roman Catholic church, containing tall bell tower, recently renovated architecture and many interesting, historic features.
