Getting Around, Atlanta Travel, Transport and Car Rental

(Atlanta, Georgia - GA, USA)

Travel in and around Atlanta is a relatively stress-free experience on account of the highly efficient public transport system run by Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, or MARTA. Trains, buses and shuttles cover most major destinations within Atlanta city and travel according to strict and regular timetables.

Available by telephone only, Atlanta's taxis are a more expensive form of transport, although they provide visitors with more flexibility in the destinations they can reach than Atlanta's public transport system.
