Focusing on man's relationship with space and his advancements in space travel, the center is within easy reach of Atlanta and includes the Omnisphere Planetarium Theater, Challenger Learning Center, Mead Observatory and other exhibit areas.

Hay House

Built between 1855 and 1860, the Hay House is a lavish Italian Renaissance Revival construction that was once home to William Butler Johnston, the keeper of the Confederate treasury. The building cost USD100,000 to build and has some stunning restored interior features and attractions, such as stained glass, wall paintings and ornate period furnishings.

The State Botanical Garden of Georgia encompasses a massive 313 acres / 127 hectares and is dedicated to the teaching and research of indigenous and non-indigenous botanical flora. Tubman African American Museum

Tubman African American Museum is named after Harriet Tubman, a former black slave and freedom fighter. The museum is dedicated to the exploration and preservation of African-American cultural heritage and is home to a variety of exhibits, cultural artifacts and folk and African art.
