Atlanta is not essentially a tourist city and doesn't rely heavily on visitors to sustain its local economy, although Atlanta is still home to an array of impressive and extremely popular tourist attractions. The city of Atlanta has three fantastic theme parks operated by the popular Six Flags Company, attracting Georgia residents, out-of-state and international tourists alike.

Add to that the fantastic CNN Center with its variety of attractions and you can easily rule out dismissing Atlanta as a city with nothing to do.


CNN Studio Tour

CNN has departments in countries all over the world; however, the epicenter of its journalistic action is at the international broadcast studios of the CNN News Group at Atlanta's CNN Center. Atlanta's Six Flags Over Georgia theme park has 331 acres / 134 hectares of land dedicated to some of the country's best rides, attractions and shows. Throughout the year there are numerous shows and festivals to complement anchor attractions, such as the Mind Bender roller coaster, Bugs Bunny World and the variety of Broadway-style shows performed throughout the park.
