Los Angeles Museums

(Los Angeles, California - CA, USA)

LA isn't short of museums and if you're stuck for something to do, Los Angeles is home to endless choices catering for all ages and interests. Museum Row, a three-block stretch along Wilshire Boulevard, is a good place to start. This area of Los Angeles boasts no less than five museums and it is quite hard to fit all these attractions into one day.

Other popular favorites include the California Science Center, which stands just across from the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and will take you on a trip of scientific discovery. Alternatively, check out the Rancho La Brea Tar Pits, where you can view fossils of unfortunate prehistoric creatures who met their end in this very city.

Those looking for a more contemporary and challenging place to explore in Los Angeles should try the Museum of Tolerance, which examines human prejudice through events in history.
