Cabo San Lucas Golf Courses and Clubs

In recent years, Cabo San Lucas has gained quite a reputation in terms of its golf courses and is considered to be one of Mexico's true golfing gems and by many to be the country's golfing capital. Although the green fees at the best championship golf courses within Cabo San Lucas can be expensive, many are designed by the golf legend Jack Nicklaus and are worth the money for the ocean views alone.

Particularly impressive in Cabo San Lucas is the Palmilla Course, which boasts three individual nine-hole courses complete with mountain backdrops, desert areas with large cacti and views across the Sea of Cortez.

El Dorado Golf Course

Designed by none other than Jack Nicklaus himself and situated next the ocean being surrounded by stunning scenery, the El Dorado Golf Course is amongst the most impressive clubs in the Cabo San Lucas area. Established in the early 1990s, this 18-hole course has quickly matured and features excellent amenities, such as cart rental and a clubhouse, complete with restaurant area. Be sure to reserve your tee times and be prepared for expensive green fees.

Cabo Del Sol Golf Course

Another Jack Nicklaus designed course and previously host to the prestigious PGA Senior Slam championship, the Cabo Del Sol Golf Course was founded in 1994 and has grown in popularity ever since. Located especially close to the Sheraton Hacienda del Mar Resort, the course features equipment hire and is par 72.

Cabo San Lucas Country Club

Formerly known as the Raven Golf Club, the 18-hole Cabo San Lucas Country Club welcomes non-members and whilst the green fees can be pricey, the facilities are superb and carts are included in the price. The course can be played as two nine-hole courses, where you can expect distracting views across the bay and Land's End.

Palmilla Course

This stunning Jack Nicklaus designed golf course boasts 27 holes, being divided into three separate nine-hole courses. Each of these layouts has their own unique scenery and challenges. The courses are named the Arroyo Nine, Mountain Nine and Ocean Nine, suiting all golfing abilities.
