Visitors looking to purchase a painting or sculpture to remind them of their stay in Cabo San Lucas will not be disappointed and able to choose between authentic reproductions of traditional Mexican art works, paintings by local artists and many contemporary pieces.

Golden Cactus Gallery

Oil paintings created by artists from all over Mexico are on exhibit at the Golden Cactus Gallery, many of which are modern and extremely colourful in their appearance. Although the gallery is known for its oil paintings, other works using different mediums are also available, along with many popular and inexpensive prints.
Open hours: Monday to Saturday - 10:00 to 19:00 closed August and September but available for private viewing on request

Sergio Bustamante Gallery

The Sergio Bustamante Gallery is located within the city's marina area and is best known for its unusual papier maché sculptures. This famous Mexican artist is known throughout the country for his many amusing pieces, which also include hand-carved wooden furniture, extravagant pieces of jewellery and also amusing ceramics. However, if you fall in love with one of the exhibits, be prepared to max out your credit card and these appealing art works don't come cheap.
Open hours: Sunday to Thursday - 11:00 to 21:00, Friday and Saturday - 11:00 to 22:00

Galeria de Kaki Bassi (Bassi Gallery)

The Galeria de Kaki Bassi features an array of art works from around the Baja California peninsula and beyond. Paintings here are reasonably priced and make good souvenirs of your visit, with the exhibits being frequently changed.

Old Town Gallery

Formerly the Wentworth Porter Gallery, the Old Town Gallery is situated in San Jose del Cabo, next to Cabo San Lucas, and specialises in paintings by local Mexican artists. Many of the art works on exhibit at this gallery often depict the local scenery, including views of the coastline, deserts and mountains, and as such, are often extremely popular and regularly purchased by visiting tourists.

Cardon Gallery

The Cardon Gallery is a good spot to pick up some inexpensive reproductions of traditional Mexican art. Also on exhibit are a number of interesting modern sculptures, created using various different mediums.
