Buzzing at all times of the day
Although many people told me that it only really comes alive at night, I found that Rua das Pedras, a street in Buzios, was buzzing at all times of the day. This is where you should be walking along if you want to pick up top local jewellery, handicrafts, and artwork - in addition to clothes suitable for wearing around the resort you're staying at.

Re. Charming and beautiful
Each to their own, but I personally found Azeda Beach to be the best in Buzios. Especially recommended to those who enjoy watching a beautiful sunset!

Charming and beautiful
I tried most of the beaches in and around Buzios, but Playas de Buzios was the stand-out for me. It was simply charming and beautiful at the same time, and I met a lot of great locals even though I was sat alone on a towel in the middle of nowhere. Everyone checked to see if I was ok!

Boardwalk Empire
Thankfully, Orlat Bardot Boardwalk was a lot more serene and romantic on a nice evening stroll than the counterpart I am more familiar with in Atlantic City, New Jersey - not too far from my home. Naturally, there are plenty of bars and restaurants for you to sample something in when you have done with your walking.

Best Buzio views
I felt that the best views of Buzio were offered from Iglesia de Santa Ana. Those interested in religious sites and architecture will enjoy it regardless of the views though!
