Buzios Restaurants and Dining

(Buzios, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)

The bustling resort of Buzios literally caters well for its annual influx of holiday makers and comes with an impressive array of restaurants and similar eateries. Dining out is always popular in Buzios, whether you are simply looking for a light lunch or a more formal evening meal, after spending a day sunbathing on one of the surrounding beaches.

A number of cheap eats are available right alongside the beaches of Brava, Joao Fernandes and Ferradura. These snack bars and restaurants are often housed beneath attractive thatched roofs and regularly serve tasty, freshly caught grilled fish. Many excellent dining opportunities are based around the Armacao area and these are well worth considering, while if you simply need an ice cream or drink, kiosks are never far from the beachfront.

Where to Eat

The Rua das Pedras is the principal shopping street in Buzios and also comes with its fair share of restaurants and bars, being central to nightlife in the resort. Many cafe tables spill out on the pavement, so that diners can soak up the views, atmosphere and sunshine whilst enjoying a bite to eat.

Apart from the Rua das Pedras, other notable restaurants in Buzios are located on adjacent and parallel streets such as the Rua Luis Joaquim Pereira, the Rua Turibio de Farias and the Rua Manoel de Carvalho, as well as around the Praca dos Ossos.
