The city has several regular open-top hop on / hop off guided by tours, allowing you to both tour the city with ease and enjoy some informative commentary en route. These buses are operated by CitySightSeeing and Guide Friday, and comprise approximately 11 different stops, such as Cardiff Castle, the City Hall, the National Museum of Wales, the Welsh national Assembly, the Mermaid Quay, and the Millennium Stadium. Conveniently, you are able to leave the bus at any stop and then get back on when you are ready.

Twmbarlwm Mountain can be found in the Abergavenny area and is within easy reach of the city centre. This attractive mountain has several walking trails, with spectacular views of the surrounding area. It is also possible to drive up much of the mountain to areas suitable for picnics.
