There is an international airport nearby and frequent trains and buses travel in from Dublin and Cork. If you can't find a flight to Kerry Airport, Cork and Dublin both present good alternatives.

The town of Killarney is easy to get around on foot without ever needing to use public transport, although there are taxis on hand for those who prefer the convenience of fast travel. Horse-drawn carriages also ply the town centre, being popular with sightseeing tourists. Most people tend to hire a car if travelling around and about, especially where the Ring of Kerry is concerned.
