Getting Around, Hilton Head Travel, Transport and Car Rental

(Hilton Head, South Carolina - SC, USA)

Hilton Head Island is a little difficult to reach directly if you don't have your own car or boat. However, there are daily air transport connections to Hilton Head from Charlotte, although most visitors drive to Hilton Head Island from either Savannah, Georgia or Charleston, South Carolina. These areas all offer international airports, as well as Amtrak train stations and Greyhound transport terminals.

Travel around the island is not easy if you don't have your own transport, although Hilton Head Island is small enough for cycling if the weather cooperates.

Ground transport here includes shuttle travel to the island, a 40-minute journey.
