Albuquerque comes with a large selection of galleries boasting a diverse and eclectic array of art from the region and beyond. There is a particular concentration of art galleries within the hip and trendy Nob Hill area, as well as Old Town Albuquerque.

Many of the city's exhibition spaces feature original works, including paintings, jewelry and sculptures by local artists and craftspeople from throughout New Mexico. The wealth of art galleries makes finding reasonably priced decorative pieces quite possible, with the Amapola on Romero Street Northwest being especially appealing and managed by an enthusiastic co-operative of some 40 individual artists.

This is a cooperative gallery in downtown Albuquerque, close to the American International Rattlesnake Museum, the Explora Science Center and the Museum of Art and History. The Amapola Gallery features original works by local artists and craftspeople, comprising a co-operative of approximately 40 individual artists.

Andrews Pueblo Pottery and Gallery

Located next to the Old Town Shopping Center and near to both West Park and Tiguex Park, this family-owned business sells authentic Native American pottery, paintings, sculptures and jewelry. The Andrews Pueblo Pottery and Gallery was established in the mid-1970s and has become known for its Sheldon Harvey paintings.

The Nob Hill Gallery is the home of more than 20 fine artists and craftsmen from the metropolitan area.
