Lincoln is able to boast an excellent selection of golfing attractions, with many courses being just a short drive from the city center and open to visiting golfers.

Particularly easy to reach is the Holmes Golf Course, which stands on the southeastern side of the city, within the Hyde Observatory Holmes Park, where it was created in the early 1960s and offers an 18-hole championship layout.

To the south of the downtown district, the Lincoln Country Club dates all the way back to 1903 and comes with additional sporting facilities, including an outdoor swimming pool with a tube water slide, tennis courts and fitness equipment.
