The Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament is located in the Midtown district of Sacramento and is a magnificent building. Known for being the largest Roman Catholic church in the area, attractions at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament include twin bell towers, a circular stained-glass window, wooden and stone sculptures, Italian Renaissance style architecture, and many historic period features. Construction of the church was finally completed in 1886 and over the years, the building has been renovated and restored. Regular parish church services are held each week and Sunday masses are always well attended.
