Sacramento Art Galleries

(Sacramento, California - CA, USA)

Without a doubt the most famous gallery in Sacramento city is the Crocker Art Museum, which contains some fine Californian art and other prominent works from across Europe and Asia, while the building's interior itself is also a work of art. Established in the 1880s and situated in downtown Sacramento, the Crocker Art Museum is known for its Rembrandt paintings and important 'Early California' pieces.

Other art galleries in Sacramento worthy of a visit include the brilliant and upmarket Ventana gallery, where works may be purchased, while the Art Foundry Gallery offers something completely different, as does La Raza Galleria Posada, with its strong Latino influences.
