Getting Around, Foz do Iguacu Travel, Transport and Car Rental

(Foz do Iguacu, Paraná, Brazil)

Although Foz do Iguacu does not feature its own municipal bus transport system as such, there are actually several private companies operating in the city, with identical fares. Buses provide a simple way to travel between the main places of interest around Foz do Iguacu, while those heading to either Argentina or Paraguay should bear in mind any border-crossing requirements.

To enter Paraguay you must have a visa in order to cross the border. These are easy to obtain and this process usually takes no more than 24 hours. If you are intending to travel into Argentina, then you will be pleased to learn that no such visa is needed for most nationalities, although if in any doubt, do check first.
