Iguacu Falls
Iguacu Falls was the highlight of our trip and we loved the National Park. We started at the visitor's center to get extra information. The staff were friendly and could answer all our questions. We took the shuttle bus to the falls and went on a boat trip. Afterwards we walked along one of the well marked trails. The walk took us 2 hours but there are many different routes of different lengths and difficulties to choose from.

Bird Park
We spent the morning at Iguacu Falls and then went to the nearby Bird Park. There were so many different bird species to see and I even got to take a photo with a beautiful red and blue parrot. The trail through the aviaries was easy to follow and we enjoyed the butterfly section. Luckily there was a shop selling snacks because we were hungry after walking around the 17 hectare park.

Re. shopping
I love San Blas Street but Camilo Recalde is a good place for shopping too.

Shopping
I headed to San Blas Street for a day of shopping and found everything I needed from clothes to fresh produce. I bought some interesting souvenirs to take back home and managed to get all my gift shopping done here.

See Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil
Tourists can go to the place where the three countries meet and spot cargo ships transporting goods between the countries. We were on a tight budget so this was a great free excursion to add to our itinerary after visiting more expensive sites.
