As well as the huge green expanse of parks, such as Eden Park, there are also numerous gardens or town squares which, although relatively small in size, are oases of tranquillity in which to relax and watch the rest of Rimini go about its business.

Many parks also offer a number of attractions and play areas for the whole family. These are great places for children to let of steam during their stay in Rimini.


Eden Park

Visitors can get closer to nature at Eden Park, located in the northern beach area of Rimini. This huge wildlife park houses many exotic animals and bird species, some of which are threatened with extinction in the wild.
Open hours: Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays, winter - 15:00 to 18:00; daily, summer - 09:00 to 19:00

Parco Marecchia

Also known as the Parco XXV Aprile, this vast park area also happens to be the biggest in Rimini. Visitors can enter the park on Via Dario Campana and on Via XXIII Settembre. There's plenty to keep the kids occupied, including a play area. For the active-minded, there are also tennis courts, a football pitch and even a running track. During the year, the Parco Marecchia hosts everything from traditional festivals to fairs.

Parco V Peep

This is the second-largest of Rimini's parks and gardens. Located between the Via Euterpe and the Via della Fiera, the Parco V Peep features a lake and children's play area. For most visitors, however, its winding pathways are a pleasant way to while away an afternoon. The park is at its best during the autumn, when its trees glow in all their autumnal glory.

Parco Briolini

Sandwiched between the Via Brandolino and the Via Ortigara, Parco Briolini is a tranquil, wooded haven for visitors to enjoy when they need a break from the hustle and bustle of Rimini's beach and tourist attractions. This large open green space also has a children's play area.

Giardino id Piazza Ferrari

Situated just across from one of Rimini's oldest ice cream parlours, this popular green square is just the place to enjoy an ice cream whilst sitting in the sun. A small playground at the centre of the Giardino id Piazza Ferrari square is a particularly popular attraction for families during the warm spring and summer months.

Il Giardino degli Aromi

This charming garden is tucked away between some of Rimini's oldest buildings. Relax on one of the many benches at the Il Giardino degli Aromi and enjoy its traditional flowerbeds, bushes and shrubs.
