The sun is shining and the temperature is soaring - and so what better way to cool down than to spend an afternoon at the WaterWorld Waterpark. Standing just 3 km / 2 miles to the west of Ayia Napa, the WaterWorld Waterpark is said to be the best water park on the island and features a huge selection of watery attractions, which come in the form of fast tubes and slides, splash pools, an area for younger children and plenty of sun loungers to go around. Do note that the WaterWorld Waterpark can get very busy in the afternoon and so if you're not a fan of queuing, then do consider arriving early in the morning. The attraction is certainly not just for younger visitors and often children are outnumbered by adults zooming down the slides. Food and drink may only be purchased onsite and is quite expensive, so visitors are known to sneak in bottles of water.

Tourists often enjoy joining the regularly Dolphin Boat Safaris and although you're not guaranteed to encounter dolphins, you usually see plenty.
