Getting Around, Jackson Hole Travel, Transport and Car Rental

(Jackson Hole, Wyoming - WY, USA)

JAC Airport photoLying within the valley of Teton County, Jackson Hole covers a large area, although most people do choose to base themselves within the town of Jackson, where public transport includes both local and regional buses. The town itself is relatively small and many visitors simply choose to travel between the most central attractions on foot.

Those who have their very own set of wheels will find it much easier to sightsee and travel around at your leisure, although bus transport does offer a cheap and easy way to travel around the Grand Teton National Park. Many locals in Jackson simply choose to travel by bicycle in the summer, and bikes can be rented by the day if required.
