Going to the Tampa Museum of Art, Ashley Drive
I'm not particularly interesting in paintings and things like that, bit of a philistine, and the missus kind of dragged me here. I ended up having to admit to her that I was having a really good time. There was a nice sundeck next to the river, and for my the best bits were the Greek statues and the picnic that we had in the gardens. We're very organized like that!

Tampa University
There are around 5000 students that go to the University of Tampa (UT). It is an awesome place and the building itself is really grnd, with lots of onion shaped minarets. It looks a bit like it should belong in Russia. The gardens are really lovely and have some wacky sculptures, like the huge 'Sticks of Fire' sculpture.

About the Museum of Science and Industry
When we have a week in Tampa, we went to the Museum of Science and Industry, on Fowler Avenue, which many people call the MOSI. Anyway, it was really cool. There were lots of things to get involved with. We went in the hurricane room to feel what it is like when there is a gale blowing across Florida - it was a bit breezy, just a little bit. There was also an Imax theater and things like that. Plenty for the children to enjoy.
