Trujillo Capitan FAP Carlos Martinez de Pinillos International Airport (TRU) Information

(Trujillo, La Libertad, Peru)

The Capitan FAP Carlos Martinez de Pinillos International Airport is the main gateway into Peru's third-largest city. Trujillo is located in the north-western part of the country, where it is known for its culture and history. Visitors are primarily attracted to the city by its national 'marinera' dance, as well as its proximity to several pre-Columbian archaeological sites.

The airport is just a short distance away from Trujillo city centre, and possesses one terminal and one runway. Taxis and self-driving are the most convenient ways to travel to and from the facility, with rental cars being easy to arrange, either in advance or upon arrival.

The airport plays host to scheduled, charter and private air traffic. Major scheduled airlines flying in and out of this airport include LAN Peru, Star Peru and Taca Peru. The primary air connection is to the Peruvian capital, Lima.
