Eating around the Duomo
If you want a pizza at Piazza Duomo then go round the back of the Rinascente to Luini. Its probably cheaper and a lot more genuine than the touristy stuff they serve in the galleria!! Plus a lot less expensive to boot.

Shopping and Clubbing at the Corso Como
The Corso Como is a lively part of Milan, day or night. By day, take a walk around the area, go shopping, and don't forget to try the traditional Italian ice cream. By night however, it is a different place altogether and the Hollywood club seems to have earned itself quite a reputation. The Corso Como has a definite young persons vibe about it, although I didn't feel out of place as someone in my forties!

The Rather Beautiful Palazzo Marino
In the middle of the 16th century, the Italian architect Galeazzo Alessi designed the Palazzo Marino and as soon as it was complete, the palace became one of the grandest in Milan, and still is, although it was altered a bit in the 1880s. It faces the Piazza della Scala and represents classical Italian architecture for the period, with a definite feeling of extravagance.

Eating Pizza in Milan
If you are in the centre of Milan and want a pizza, then go to the Ristorante Pizzeria Primafila, near to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and opposite the Duomo. It was recommended to us and had such a nice meal there than I felt I should recommend it myself.
