Positano Hotels and Accommodation

(Positano, Campania, Italy)

Stunning coastal picture of the townThe town of Positano offers a good selection of accommodation, with hotels in the more expensive bracket being especially plentiful. Further lodging comes in the form of private rooms and self-catering apartments and information about these and other available accommodation can be obtained upon your arrival, by paying the Positano tourist office a visit.

Those not able to afford hotels and looking for something a little cheaper should consider staying at the Ostello Brikette youth hostel, which is located on the Via G. Marconi. However, Positano's youth hostel does feature a strict midnight curfew and is also closed during the winter, between November and March.

Where to Stay

The Bar Internazionale is located close by and uphill, offering both dormitory-style accommodation and double guest rooms, along with spectacular vistas across Positano and the Mediterranean.

Alternatively, look for hotels along stretches such as the Via dei Mulini, where the luxury 18th-century Hotel Palazzo Murat is located, and the Via Formilla, home to the beachfront Casa Guadagno.

Further view of the town and lodgingOne of the most famous hotels in Positano and perhaps the whole of Italy's Salerno province, to many, Le Sirenuse needs no introduction.

The accommodation here is exceptional and the views across the bay are really something quite special, particularly when you are eating your breakfast on the popular terrace. Le Sirenuse is just a relatively short distance from the beachfront, via lots of steps, and is also close to a number of good shopping opportunities and restaurants.
