Where to Stay

In Lynton, the Lee House is a renowned four-star guesthouse, offering a high standard of accommodation and impressive vistas across the Valley of the Rocks and coastal path. Close to Lynmouth harbour, the Rising Sun provides very atmospheric accommodation, being a thatched smuggler's inn dating back to the 14th century.

If you are looking for cheap lodging and budget accommodation around North Devon, then guesthouses are often the best bet, with popular choices including the Hillside House on Watersmeet Road in Lynmouth, and the Woodlands House on Lynbridge Road in Lynton. Close by, the Pine Lodge is also quite an affordable, albeit basic, place to stay, as is the Bridge Inn, which stands just outside of the towns and along the banks of the West Lyn River.

Campers often favour the Sunny Lyn Holiday Park at Lynbridge, where you are also able to rent cabins, caravans and self-catering apartments. Also of note are the Channel View Camping Park and the Caffyn's Cross Campsite, both of which are located at Barbrook, which from Lynton and Lynmouth is just over 5 km / 3 miles away.
