Re. Derby's most famous landmark
You're right, it is regularly updated. If you interested in this kind of thing though, you could next time venture just over eight miles from Derby city centre in order to visit Calke Abbey. It is home to numerous collections and has wonderful gardens for you to walk around.

Derby's most famous landmark
I thought that the cathedral was the most impressive building in Derby and it has become a favourite of mine. As opposed to others than can be quite gloomy, this cathedral was full of light. It was also pretty and has been well-maintained while also possibly updated at regular intervals.

Re. All the culture you need under one roof
QUAD is also a personal favourite of mine when in Derby but I also recommend the theatre if you fancy a change to art or sitting in front of the big screen. I was lucky to see an excellent local production of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman.

All the culture you need under one roof
I asked a local what they would recommend to do once the sun went down and sightseeing took a back seat. She recommended QUAD and what a recommendation that was. Not only is it an impressive gallery, it also has a cinema that shows the newest arty releases from all over the world in addition to some old classics. Here's looking at you, kid!

I am seeing why its name is Pride Park
It was sad for me that Derby is no longer EPL team but I still enjoy good time at Pride Park. Fans is really proud of their 'Rams', even if they lost that day. Cheap to get ticket and good family atmosphere - which I can't say on most English football grounds.
