Newquay Museums

(Newquay, Cornwall, England, UK)

Beach and harbour nearby NewquayThere are not many museum-type attractions in the town of Newquay and very little of the local history is mentioned around the area. However, the Tunnels Through Time is Newquay's main speciality museum and it has successfully recreated many interesting legends and local yarns, both fictional and factual.

Special lighting effects add an element of atmosphere to the life-size recreations of local Cornish characters around this popular Newquay museum. Although this is a fun attraction containing plenty of local interest, you shouldn't expect to spend much more than an hour here, at most.
