Dubrovnik Airport is Croatia's largest and a main international arrivals point for holiday makers heading to the country's Adriatic Sea resorts. Set close to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Dubrovnik's charming Old Town, the facility handles over a million passengers a year and is still expanding its complex to deal with ever increasing traffic.
A mixture of full-service, charter and budget carriers offer seasonal routes to Dubrovnik Airport from cities across Europe, the UK, North Africa and Israel. National flag carrier Croatia Airlines offers scheduled flights throughout the year to

British Airways provides a year-round route to

Dubrovnik Airport is located in the Cilipi suburb, about 24 km / 15 miles from the city centre. It lies to the south-east of the city, close to the suburbs of Stravca, Konavle, Kupari and Uskoplje. Recently, the airport has been undergoing major upgrades and improvements, including the expansion of its terminals. By car, the city is an average of 25 minutes' drive away.

Facilities:
- The information desk can be found close to the check-in counters in Terminal A
- Two bureaux de change are located in the International Arrivals and Departures halls
- An OTP bank branch and a post office are located in the landside area
- Two Internet kiosks and wireless Internet access are provided
- Caffe 1 coffee shops offering drinks, light meals and snacks are located in the Domestic Arrivals hall and the International Arrivals and Departures halls
- Dubrovnik car rental is on hand via Sixt, Hertz, Budget, Dollar and Avis, as well as several local companies
- A duty free outlet is set in the International Departures hall
- The Trafica tobacco and newspaper shop is found in the Domestic Departures hall
- A VIP lounge and a business lounge are located in the International Departures hall
- Facilities for the disabled exist, but are basic
- A 600-space long- and short-term parking lot is found next to the terminals
- Dubrovnik Airport's award-winning gardens are well worth a look
Cars
The roads in and around Dubrovnik are modern and in good condition, making driving here a pleasure. The route from Dubrovnik Airport to the heart of the city and its beaches begins via the E65 motorway and is well signposted. The left-hand fork onto the city's main access road lies some 3 km / 2 miles from the airport exit.
Buses
Bus links from the airport are operated by the municipal Libertas Dubrovnik from a stop outside the airport. Some buses stop before the city centre at Cavtat, with a connecting bus taking travellers on to the city. A shuttle bus service to the central area is offered to scheduled flight travellers by Atlas Coaches, taking around half an hour and linked to flight arrival schedules.
Taxis
Taxis, including those supplied by Taxi and Transportation Service Dubrovnik, are available at the rank located just outside the terminal. An expected journey time should be around 15 minutes, dependent on traffic conditions.
