Atlantic City Churches and Cathedrals

(Atlantic City, New Jersey - NJ, USA)

Many churches are present within Atlantic City, meaning that wherever you are staying, if you are searching for a place of worship, it is quite likely that you won't have far to look - especially if you are close to Pacific Avenue.

The Church of the Ascension is particularly important locally, since it dates back to 1893 and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Close by, the St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church also appears on this list, being completed slightly later, in 1905. This is a surprisingly busy place, with just under 20 masses (Novus Ordo) each week, together with regular choir rehearsals and local Christening, wedding and funeral services.
